I have been coming here for 6 years and have seen this place take new ownership. The quality of the food and the price has remained the same. I could not recommend the katsu and chips enough to people, love this place and hope it stays forever.

Salty Plum is an absolute hidden gem in Robina! The food here is delicious and incredibly affordable. Their $10 lunch specials are a rare find these days, making it a fantastic spot for a budget-friendly meal. The place is always buzzing during lunchtime, which speaks to its popularity. They offer a great variety of dishes, including teriyaki chicken, katsu curry, and vegetable tempura. My favorite entrée is the agedashi tofu—it has the perfect crispy exterior with soft tofu inside, paired with just the right amount of sauce. For mains, I highly recommend the teriyaki salmon and vegetable tempura. The salmon is cooked to perfection, and the teriyaki sauce complements it beautifully without being overpowering. The vegetable tempura is lightly battered, crispy, and pairs perfectly with the accompanying sauce. Tucked away next to a petrol station, Salty Plum is a true hidden gem worth discovering. Highly recommended. Went here for the first time and it did not disappoint. I ordered off the lunch menu, teriyaki chicken and rice for $10. Service was great and was cooked relatively quickly. Generous amount of food and was absolutely delicious with so much flavor. Will definitely be going back. Can't wait to try more dishes.

I was driving to aim for a coffee and accidently found this hidden gem. This jap restaurant is small but they have plenty of options for selection. Their chicken was so juicy and huge in size. You can tell how much effort they have put into the food. The Japanese chef and his team is so experience and I found that this shop has been here for long. Their sushi rolls are also good and due to the time of my arrival, most of them has been sold out. I would highly recommend this restaurant to whom who love Japanese food!!!

Unexpected food was so good, high standards quality, salmon poke with generous avocado , salad, salmon, rice cooked perfectly. With warm touch of a piece of lemon and sprinkle with sesame, spring onions. Only $14, unbelievable To be honest , if they charge $18, still reasonable. Fried chicken was very juicy and delicious. Happy meal. They are much better than other formal Japanese restaurants. The restaurant is very busy at lunch time. Keep up good work I will definitely go again and again. Highly recommend

Usually I get exactly what I order but tonight a ordered a teriyaki bowl and gyoza but I got 4 crumbed potato looking things, im not a fan because your gyoza is the best I've ever had. I took a photo to show you but I can't send it to show you what I received

My friend rave about how good the food here is and I finally had the chance to have lunch here. They cook your food fresh and it was quick. I ordered the katsu in curry and it was very delicious. It cost about $16 and very reasonable price for a good lunch. Conveniently located beside 7 eleven. I highly recommend this place.
